Immortalize your memories with photography amid the pure beauty of the U.S. National Arboretum. Take your photos in the charming park-like environment of the Dogwood Collection, complete with benches and a fountain, or against the classical refinement of the historic National Capitol Columns—or both. Either way, you can be certain your photos will be captured in a setting both naturally enticing and uniquely Washingtonian.
Wedding photographs may be taken at the stately National Capitol Columns. The 22 Corinthian columns from the U.S. Capitol bore witness to presidential inaugurations from Andrew Jackson to Dwight D. Eisenhower. Situated adjacent to the National Herb Garden Meadow, in the heart of the arboretum, the columns now preside gracefully over the sweep of space, creating an elegant and unique setting with which to remember your day.
All commercial/professional wedding photography requires a permit and a fee. The arboretum’s administrative technician will be happy to assist you in scheduling your photography.
A $30 non-refundable fee to apply for a permit is due prior to the photo session. Upon approval of the application the $30 fee is applied to the total photography cost. Payment is to be made in the form of a credit card, certified check, or money order payable to the U.S. National Arboretum.
